Now that winter is here, we have decided to share some thoughts and maybe give you guys some directions on popular winter hair colors that seem to be popping up everywhere.
Let’s start with our favorite Mushy Black
The weather is getting colder and hair is getting darker. This particular look is not a bold raven color, we describe this as a softer, more natural black. Our experts from Salon Armando & Frasca suggest that this works well with both warm and cool skin tones.
Our second choice is Ombre Hair or as we call it Bronde
If you’re afraid to commit to a full head of blonde, then we suggest you to try the new ‘bronde’ look. Our coloring chemist, Christina Da Silva say that this is a very flattering color for all skin tones and highlights the face nicely.
Our third choice is Auburn
Warm undertones with coppery brown, which really pops during the winter months! Auburn hair can be a pretty bold statement on its own. If you want to dial it down a notch, go for a muted shade and add some warm streaks complementing your skin tone. You don’t need long hair to pull this off, but layers and side swept bangs are always welcome. This color looks great particularly against those with green eyes.
Our forth choice is Chocolate Cherry or as we called it Dark Cherry
A sexy dark brown with deep red undertones. A color like this also works for those afraid to go black, but want to venture to the dark side says our coloring chemist, Christina Da Silva.
Our final choice is Soft Strawberry Blonde
This strawberry blonde has a subtle hint of pink. Let’s be straight for a moment here. Is there anything better than a vintage Olsen photo? Correct answer: Nope, especially when they are sporting majestic hair that perfectly toes the is-it-red-or-is-it-blonde line. Perfect for those natural blondes who are looking for a fun twist.
